About us
The Irvine No.1 Celtic Supporters’ Club has a rich history that it dates all the way back to the year 1987. This began with the provision of a supporters’ bus that left from various sites around Irvine. This initial procession that began with simply going out to watch Celtic soon evolved into something much more. As more people joined, there was a shared view from the committee to the membership that there needed to come a time when they could have their own place. This eventually happened when they transformed an ex-snooker club that still comprises the premises to this day.
With commitment and shared enthusiasm, the Celtic Supporters’ Club developed into one of the biggest Celtic Supporters’ Clubs in Scotland, now boasting membership over 750 strong. In this process, they had been fortunate to create an abundance of fond memories: Celtic players passing through their doors, The Wolfe Tones live, to traveling out on a lifetime experience on an chartered plane to Seville in 2003.
